Common Name: Dragon
and Damsel Flies.
Description: Dragon fly nymphs are
short and squat, vary from olive to brown in color up to #6 Hook size.
Found mainly in lakes and slow moving rivers, especially common around
weed beds. Mainly nocturnal so most feeding activty from trout is after
dark. Available to trout all season long.
Damsel fly nymphs are long and thin in varvaious shades of green, swim
with an exagerated 'wiggle'. Up to hook size #10. Damsels are also found
mainly in lakes around weed beds active both day and night. |
