Common Name: The horn cased caddis
Description: Perhaps one of the most common insect in New Zealand waters. These caddis live in a small translucent case, usually a muddy brown olive in color. The actuall nymph is green or white and can often be seen poking out of the end of the case, they are found in most lakes and rivers. Up to #14 hook size.
