| Terrestrials still abundant (if weather is still warm). Some Deleatidium species starting to hatch (D lillii and D vernale). Cased caddis still abundant, but many species will be smaller in average size, especially stone cased and horn cased caddis. Free living green caddis becoming less common. | |||||||

Low country |

| Deleatidium nymphs common, and mature. Hatches are starting, mostly the smaller species (8-9mm). Sandy cased caddis larvae still present, and horn caddis, but these are generally smaller in size. Willow grub feeding generally over. Few free living caddis. Caddis hatches generally over. | |||||||
