Weekend of the 6th--7th March 2004

The contest will be for fish from both the Hurunui and the Waiau Rivers from the mouth to the First Gorges in the West.
In previous years this has been a very successful concept as the rivers have different headwaters and therefore
react differently to rain and/or irrigation needs.

Entry Fees are $40.00 For Seniors and $15.00 For Juniors and are restricted to the first 300 Entries
There will again be a Bonus for the first Fishermen to enter.
Junior Competitors are to be under the age of 14 on Friday the 5th of March 2004.

Social Functions are held from 8pm Saturday and 3pm on Sunday.

It is hoped that prize sponsorship will be again more than $6000 which is divided between successful Fishermen
and Spot Prizes

Various Groups and Organisations will be running activities over the weekend to entertain,
Non fishing Family members.
